The course

The undergraduate course in Production Engineering at SENAI CIMATEC prepares students to solve the most complex problems in industrial production processes, through scientific and technological knowledge, stimulating creativity, teamwork and leadership skills. Using statistical tools and computer simulation software to train future production engineers in their decision-making capacity.

Training in production engineering allows professionals to relate technological tools to solving management problems, with the aim of increasing productivity and organizational profitability, which makes them indispensable in the job market. Being able to work in industrial companies from various production sectors, hospitals and financial systems.

During the course, the student will be trained and trained in the Integrated Logistics and Production Management Laboratory, will have experience in the industrial sector, using, for practical activities, the infrastructure of the only Model 4.0 Factory in Latin America. Graduates of the course will have a multidisciplinary training, qualified to work in various areas, such as planning and supervision of production management, quality control, logistics management, computer simulation, financial analysis, among others.

Differentials

Access to the Model 4.0 Factory, the only one in Latin America;
Use of Computer Simulation Software (Arena Simulation and Flexsim);

Coordinator

Prof. Vivian Manuela

Coordinator Dr. Vivian Manuela Conceição has a long history at SENAI CIMATEC. She started in 2003 as a student on the Technical Course in Logistics. In 2004, she became part of the logistics and productivity area, as a consultant, teacher and coordinator of the Basic Course in Logistics. In 2005, he started his degree in Logistics Management Technology (SENAI CIMATEC Faculty of Technology); in 2007, he studied the Graduation in Pedagogical Training for Professional Education Trainers (Unisul) and in 2008 he began specializing in an Executive MBA in Production and Logistics Management (Faculty of Technology SENAI CIMATEC / Faculty of Business Technology - FTE) and coordination of the Undergraduate Course in Technology in Production Management and the Course in Logistics Management. In 2009, he began the Academic Master's Degree in Computational Modeling and Industrial Technology and coordinated the MBA in Production and Logistics Management and the MBA in Project Management. The Production Engineering course began in 2014. In 2021, she became a PhD in Computational Modeling and Industrial Technology, working as coordinator, teacher and researcher at SENAI CIMATEC.
